As the Senior Graphic Designer for the PGA Show exhibit, I spearheaded the visual journey for the D7 irons launch. I led brainstorming and planning sessions and personally crafted over 90 percent of the design. From flat layouts to dynamic 3D renders, every step reflected our commitment to authentic storytelling. Presenting the final designs with persuasion, I ensured they seamlessly aligned with our vision. The exhibit's bold aesthetic was inspired by the D7 Campaign. Beyond design, I handled logistics, product merchandising, and production.
Crafting the essence of home is a design passion for me. Acquiring this blank canvas, I envisioned its latent possibilities from day one. Personally curating every detail, I designed and installed accent walls in the Living Room, Entryway, and Primary Bedroom. Hand-selecting furnishings, fabrics, and accessories, I balanced a harmonious blend of vintage and modern, clean lines and playful prints. A thoughtful floorplan, chosen flooring, tile, light fixtures, and a personalized color palette transformed the space. Creating plans for upcoming kitchen and bathroom renovations adds a new chapter to this evolving design story.
Beyond personal spaces, my commitment extends to the Malibu East Condo Association. As a member of the Architecture and Aesthetics committee, I curated a fresh paint color palette, infusing calm and modern sophistication into the shared spaces of our 495-unit condo building.
I had the honor of designing a 20ft tall mural and signage for Wilson’s inaugural Manhattan brick-and-mortar store. Drawing inspiration from the city's vibrant streets and the company's rich history, the vestibule mural weaves together graphics from heritage catalogs, dating back to the early 20th century.
This larger-than-life mural serves as the initial encounter for visitors, reminiscent of the allure of wheat-pasted event posters found on bustling city streets. Infused with the spirit of Wilson's legacy, the mural creates a captivating first impression, setting the tone for a unique and immersive Wilson store experience in the iconic landscape of New York City.
As the designer, art director, and producer of this project, I spearheaded the complete identity for The Potting Bench, a unique experience nestled in downtown Chicago's Block 37. From inception to execution, my role encompassed every facet, including naming, logo design, store graphics, merchandising consultation, signage, copywriting, uniforms, original patterns, and wallpaper.
Within the constraints of a "no-reno" design, I maximized the impact through thoughtful choices in signage, paint, and wallpaper. The brand ethos was carefully curated to exude approachability, local charm, knowledge, confidence, and a sense of joy. The Potting Bench emerged as not just a store but a vibrant, happy haven for green enthusiasts in the heart of the city.
In curating my wedding, I assumed the roles of designer and planner, transforming a rustic setting into a formal, black-tie optional event space. My design comprised a custom monogram, invitations, and an engaging event website. Every detail mattered, from meticulously conceptualizing table design and room layout to defining an all-encompassing color scheme that guided the guest’s dress code. This endeavor encapsulated not just a wedding but an immersive experience, where every visual element contributed to a memorable day.
As the driving force behind the outdoor Wilson golf demo experience, I assumed the role of Senior Designer, steering the ship from overall design to day-of setup. With a hands-on approach, I personally executed 80 percent or more of the work, collaborating with the art director, stakeholders, and exhibit vendor to ensure a seamless event.
The challenge was to make Wilson "Own Red," and our design achieved just that. Amidst a sea of black and white exhibits, our bold and confident use of red not only made us stand out but also marked Wilson's distinctive presence in the golfing landscape.
In the realm of philanthropy and entertainment, I took on the roles of singer, performer, and graphic designer for the Kiki Queens live singing drag fundraiser. As a vital member of the "prom committee," I delved into planning the thematic elements, decorations, event activities, itinerary, as well as selecting the non-profit beneficiary.
My creative touch extended to designing the event logo and crafting compelling marketing materials. I played a pivotal role in orchestrating the overall space layout and contributing to the vibrant decorations. The result was an unforgettable night where we not only entertained but also raised over $10,000 for charity, creating a safe and inclusive community event that resonated with the spirit of giving.
Embracing the enchanting world of tiki culture, I fulfilled a long-standing dream by creating the Tonga Terrace: a summer glamping spot in southwest Michigan. This ongoing passion project is a creative journey, involving diverse tasks to bring the tropical haven to life.
I immersed myself in every aspect of the transformation: replacing the camper, constructing the deck, planning and executing renovations, installing a bamboo privacy fence, replacing the camper roof, and naming, designing, and crafting the Tonga Terrace sign. While professional builders provided assistance when needed, the majority of the work bore my personal touch.
What began as a dilapidated camper with a breathtaking view has blossomed into a snug retreat—a place to unwind, mix up a refreshing mai tai, and share good times with friends.
GGI's custom NeoCon exhibit was an exciting challenge. Tasked with leveraging a vast archive of existing GGI company samples and graphics, I aimed to create a space that seamlessly blended functionality with aesthetics.
The primary challenge was to design a booth capable of displaying and storing numerous glass samples in a space accessible from two sides, all while maintaining an open and clean aesthetic. This booth didn't merely serve as a display; it transformed into a dynamic creative space. Prospective buyers found a welcoming environment to lay out samples and engage in meaningful discussions with GGI representatives.
Designed in collaboration with ViroDesignLab, under their art direction, we successfully crafted an exhibit that not only showcased GGI's products but also fostered a collaborative and interactive experience for all attendees at NeoCon.
Teaming up with Carl's Golfland, a premier golf shop in the Detroit area, I spearheaded a Wilson golf custom in-store installation that aimed to elevate the shopping experience for golf enthusiasts.
Navigating within tight budget constraints, we developed two versions of the same space to cater to different financial considerations. In Budget A, we enveloped the entire space, creating an immersive and visually captivating in-store experience. Meanwhile, Budget B presented a more streamlined version, ensuring that even with a smaller budget, the custom in-store solution would maintain its impact and bespoke charm.
The result (using budget B) was a tailored and visually striking display, aligning Wilson Golf with Carl's Golfland's commitment to providing golf enthusiasts with an engaging and personalized shopping environment.
